Hernany Perla started his career as a development executive at Lionsgate Entertainment. A two-time Blacklist writer, he has the feature film BLINK in Development with Olivier Megaton directing and Charles Roven producing, Revelation with Skybound Entertainment, and the psychological thriller SCHIZOPHRENIC. He also co-wrote SANTERIA for Blumhouse Pictures based on an idea from Jennifer Lopez and adapted Warren Adler’s book TORTURE MAN, which is currently in development. He is currently working with director Deon Taylor (BLACK AND BLUE) on an original horror feature. As a producer, Hernany produced the films GHOST TEAM ONE, EDEN and PUBLIC DISTURBANCE as well as the upcoming horror-thriller DON’T FEAR. Hernany was born in El Salvador and grew up in Houston, TX. He attended Washington University in St. Louis.
